A terrestrial ‘home at the beach’ providing easy access to sensational cruising grounds, as well as all of the benefits and amenities of the exceptional marina.
Customer relations lie at the heart of Port Vauban. Clients are cared for by a dedicated team who provide support with their range of high-end, top-quality services. Combining concierge, amenities, technical services and events, this is a port dedicated to providing a distinctive experience.
Rich Heritage
It is easy to see why the natural geography of Port Vauban has had a tremendous impact on its history. The harbour is formed of successive layers of sediments. Surrounded by sea and mountains, it was the Greek seafarers who first began turning the southern corner of the Bay of Angels into a trading post known as Antipolis. During the fourteenth century, the King of France realised the military importance of the port on the border of France and Savoy.
From the founding of Antipolis to the modern transformation of the port via the fortifications added from the sixteenth century, and the series of urban and port revolutions, Port Vauban has had multiple identities, which is reflected in its rich heritage.
Perfectly Provençal
Port Vauban adjoins the old town of Antibes, featuring its famous mesmerising Provençal scenes and artsy atmosphere. Just minutes away from the port, the gorgeous, cobbled streets of Antibes, festooned with flowers and sidewalk cafés and bistros, are the perfect location for a morning stroll, combined with a quintessential espresso and top of the line people watching. An ideal moment to visit is Chateau Grimaldi, where Pablo Picasso lived for six months in 1946, and which is now the Picasso Museum.
Superyacht Lifestyle
Seasoned yacht Owners are familiar with the benefits of waking up to the scent of the sea and the calming sound of water gently lapping at the shore. In Port Vauban, Owners now have the unique opportunity to make their exclusive berth their home. One of the facilities available to them is the new yacht club and its helipad, designed by Phillipe Prost, recent winner of the highest French distinction for architecture.
The helipad offers seamless passage to and from the airports of Nice, Cannes and Monaco, as well as further afield. In fact driving the fastest GT and Supercars at the Formula 1 racetrack of Paul Ricard, country club vibes at the Polo Club of St. Tropez or getting away to the mountains of Gstaad for the day are all just a helicopter ride away from Port Vauban.
